From Synapses to System: Unraveling the Convergence of Human Cognition and Machine Learning
The Faculty of Behavioural Sciences at SGT University hosted an event, "From Synapses to System: Unraveling the Convergence of Human Cognition and Machine Learning," on March 28, 2024. This event was all about exploring how human thinking and machine learning come together.
Dr. Maharaj Singh, Professor, Marquette University, USA, led the discussion. He explained how machines learn from the human brain's structure and functions to make predictions based on data.
After Dr. Singh's talk, students asked him questions about the future of artificial intelligence and the ethics of teaching machines morals.
The faculty is excited to organize more events like this to help students understand human behavior and thinking better, especially in relation to technologies like machine learning and artificial intelligence.
