Awareness Program on World Suicide Prevention Day
Updated on: September 10, 2025
On the occasion of World Suicide Prevention Day, the Faculty of Behavioral Sciences at SGT University organized an awareness rally and street play campaign to promote mental health awareness, reduce stigma, and educate students about early warning signs and preventive measures related to suicide. The event commenced with a gathering and group photograph of students and faculty members in front of E Block, symbolizing unity and collective responsibility toward mental well-being. Participants then marched from E Block to B Block and onward to A Block, carrying messages of hope, support, and awareness. Engaging Nukkad Natak performances at B Block and near the reception area effectively highlighted the importance of seeking help, fostering empathy, and building a compassionate and supportive campus culture.
