Dr. Neetu Choudhary is working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Cognitive Science, School of Behavioural Sciences. She completed her B.Tech. and M.Tech. in Cognitive and Neuroscience from Rajasthan University and subsequently obtained her Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) from the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh, one of India’s premier institutions for medical education and neuroscientific research. Her doctoral research focused on neurocognitive functioning, psychiatric comorbidities, and quality of life in neurological disorders, particularly drug-resistant epilepsy, with emphasis on the development, evaluation, and modelling of neuro-cognitive and psychosocial intervention modules. Her academic training integrates cognitive neuroscience, clinical psychology, rehabilitation sciences, and EEG-based modelling approaches, providing a strong interdisciplinary foundation. Dr. Choudhary has various research publications in peer-reviewed national and international journals and has actively participated in conferences, seminars, and workshops. Her research experience includes neuropsychological assessment, cognitive profiling, psychometric evaluation, EEG-based analysis and modelling, and intervention planning in clinical populations such as stroke, epilepsy, Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, and other dementias. In addition to her research activities, she is actively involved in teaching, mentoring undergraduate and postgraduate students, and guiding research projects. She emphasizes evidence-based learning, statistical reasoning, and the clinical applicability of cognitive neuroscience and EEG methods in healthcare and rehabilitation settings.
