Assistant Professor
Ms Subhashini Ramasubramanian specializes in in Health Psychology, with her graduation from University of Hyderabad and PG. Dip. in Values in Healthcare from Annamalai University, and is currently pursuing her PhD from IIT Kharagpur. Her research aims to advance the field of Indian Health Psychology, specializing in the area of Integral Well-being and developing a measuring tool of holistic health-beyond illness. She worked as a Health Psychologist at SuVitas Holistic Healthcare, India's first transition care chain and has hands-on experience with patients having acute and chronic physical disease, co-morbid with psychological difficulties. She follows an eclectic and Integral approach to health, utilizing multiple therapeutic techniques including Progressive muscle relaxation, Yoga nidra, Mindfulness-based cognitivetherapy, and Meditation based techniques. She has attended multiple National and International workshops and conferences, along with publishing an international conference proceeding and book chapter.
