Industry Advisory Board Meeting

The Faculty of Dental Sciences SGT University held its Industry Advisory Board Meeting on 13th October 2026. This initiative brought together industry representatives and the Faculty members to discuss how dental education can stay closer to the needs of the profession.

The discussions covered trends in dentistry, the skills graduates need to start practice with confidence and ways to make the curriculum more relevant, to what happens in clinics today. The meeting also looked at how industry and academia can work on training, innovation and student development.

The Faculty members will take the suggestions from the meeting forward to prepare its students for a changing profession.
