Dr. Sumit Singh Phukela

Dr. Sumit Singh Phukela is presently serving as the Dean, Faculty of Dental Sciences at S.G.T. University, Gurugram, with an extensive academic experience of 19 years and 2 months to date. He completed his Master of Dental Surgery (M.D.S.) in Prosthodontics from the College of Dental Surgery, Davangere, affiliated with Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS), Karnataka, and obtained his Bachelor of Dental Surgery (B.D.S.) from the College of Dental Surgery, MAHE University. A prolific academician and researcher, Dr. Phukela has authored over 100 research publications, 10 books, and holds 6 patents to his credit. He has conducted more than 20 pre-convention courses and has presented over 30 scientific papers and posters at various national and international conferences. Recently, he served as the Organizing Co-Chairman of the 27th IPS National PG Convention, held at the Faculty of Dental Sciences, SGT University, Gurugram, from 11th to 13th April 2025. Throughout his academic career, he has also organized more than 100 seminars, workshops, and conferences.
