The PhD in Periodontology at SGT University focuses on studying and treating periodontal diseases. This program combines clinical practice with research, allowing candidates to explore innovative therapies and preventive strategies to enhance periodontal health.
To be eligible, candidates must have a Master’s degree in Dentistry or a related field. Admission is based on meeting UGC & DCI criteria and passing an interview. The program spans three to five years, offering sufficient time for comprehensive research and study.
The syllabus features advanced coursework on periodontal disease mechanisms, treatment modalities, and clinical research. Students will gain hands-on experience and have access to state-of-the-art dental facilities.
