On September 15 2026 the School of Engineering and Technology (SOET) at SGT University celebrated Engineers’ Day 2026 with creative and technical events and competitions. These activities engaged students. Sparked team spirit in all departments. The day began with a keynote from the Dean, Prof. (Dr.) Vivek Srivastava. He inspired students with his words. His speech set a mood for everyone present. They devoted the day to celebrating the spirit of engineers and their achievements and creativity. There were competitions, such as Tech Titans, BRIDGE-O-THON, BUILD BLITZ and PROMPTATHON. These were held in departments. They gave students engineering challenges and activities. This allowed students to show their knowledge and creativity. What is remarkable is that Engineers’ Day featured an award ceremony for competitors of the competitions. The success of the winners showed their abilities, creativity, intelligence and ability to compete. Thus Engineers’ Day became a day of fun.. It was also a chance to learn the true essence of engineering. The School of Engineering and Technology, at SGT University promises to prepare professionals through creative thinking, practical learning, confident collaboration and purposeful innovation.
