On 3rd December 2024, 26 enthusiastic students from the Mechanical Engineering Department, Faculty of Engineering and Technology, SGT University, along with 3 faculty members, had the privilege of visiting the Forvia Hella Plant, Dhankot.

Forvia Hella, a global leader in automotive lighting and electronics, operates its Dhankot Plant as a hub for innovative manufacturing. The facility is renowned for producing advanced lighting systems and electronic components, supporting the automotive sector's shift towards sustainable and intelligent mobility.

This enriching experience allowed our students to witness cutting-edge manufacturing processes, explore sustainability-driven innovations, and understand the practical applications of their academic knowledge.

Such hands-on learning opportunities are integral to bridging the gap between academics and industry, preparing our future engineers.
