Under the Samajik Vikas SGT ka Prayas (SVSP) and Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (UBA) initiatives of SGT University, in collaboration with the Department of Civil Engineering (CED), SOET, a Sports Competition was successfully organized on 20 March 2026, from 10 AM onwards, featuring Carrom and Jenga competitions at the Government Middle School, Village Dhanawas, Gurugram. The event aimed to promote teamwork and holistic development among students. Participants enthusiastically took part in both games, showcasing their concentration, coordination, and strategic thinking skills.
Carrom enhanced precision and focus, while Jenga encouraged patience and problem-solving abilities. The event created a lively and inclusive atmosphere, fostering sportsmanship and mutual respect among students. Faculty members and volunteers ensured smooth conduct and fair play throughout the competition.
Such outreach activities under SVSP and UBA strengthen the connection between institutions and rural communities while contributing to students’ overall personality development beyond academics.
