The Faculty of Design hosted a week-long DEEKSHARAMBH - Induction Program from August 21 to August 27, 2024, to warmly welcome the incoming Design Batch of 2024. The program was designed to introduce students to the world of design through a series of engaging activities, creative workshops, and team-building exercises.

The induction kicked off with an inspiring session led by guest faculty member Mr. Prasoon Poddar, an artist and design educator. He conducted a hands-on workshop on paper stencils and painting, encouraging students to explore their creativity while learning basic design techniques. The following days were filled with interactive sessions, including group discussions, ice-breaking activities, and collaborative projects, all aimed at fostering a strong sense of community among the new batch.

A highlight of the program was a day trip to Rangmanch Farms, where students participated in adventure activities. This exciting outing provided a break from classroom learning, offering students the chance to bond through outdoor challenges such as obstacle courses, ziplining, and team-based games. The adventure not only promoted teamwork but also helped students build lasting friendships.

The week-long induction program was a great success, offering the new design students a fun and enriching start to their academic journey while fostering a supportive and creative environment within the Faculty of Design.
