With over five years of academic experience and nearly seven years of industry expertise in women’s wear design, Mr. Anand Choudhary has been an Associate Professor at SGT University since December 2021. His academic specialization lies in patternmaking, draping, and design development processes. Mr. Choudhary brings extensive industry experience to his role, having worked on womenswear collections for Procuredge Fashions Pvt. Ltd. and MNS Design Pvt. Ltd., collaborating with international brands such as Shein, Adler, and N11. In addition to his work in apparel design, he has contributed as a graphic designer to Cosmique Global, a leading export house, where he was responsible for developing textile artworks for ZARA women. He also completed an internship under renowned Indian designer Samant Chauhan, further enriching his professional credentials.

His design work has gained international recognition, with his sportswear collections showcased at prestigious platforms such as Hong Kong and Japan Fashion Week in 2011, under the aegis of the Apparel Export Promotion Council (AEPC), India. Furthermore, he was a finalist in the World of Wearable Art (WOW) competition held in Montana, New Zealand, after being shortlisted for the National Design Talent Contest organized by the Fashion Design Council of India in collaboration with the New Zealand Tourism Board in both 2011 and 2012.

Currently pursuing a Ph.D. in historical costume design and development, Mr. Choudhary’s research interests focus on ancient Indian costume history and its integration with advanced design technologies, including Artificial Intelligence. His academic and professional trajectory reflects a deep commitment to merging traditional design sensibilities with contemporary innovation.
