Mr. Robin Singh
Assistant Professor
Robin Singh is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Animation and VFX at SGT University. He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Animation and Multimedia and a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Applied Art. With over six years of professional experience in the gaming industry, he brings extensive expertise in game asset creation, 3D environment and character modeling, digital sculpting, texturing, and real-time production workflows. Prior to joining academia, he contributed to several internationally recognized AAA game titles, including EA SPORTS FC™ 24 (formerly FIFA), FIFA 23, WWE (UKS) 2019, WWE (UKS) 2020, and Diablo II etc. where he was involved in high-quality game art production, asset development, and production pipeline execution. His industry experience enables him to bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world studio practices, providing students with practical insights into professional game development. As a faculty member, Robin Singh is committed to nurturing creativity, critical thinking, storytelling, and production-oriented skills among aspiring artists and designers. His teaching methodology integrates traditional art fundamentals with contemporary digital technologies, preparing students for successful careers in animation, gaming, visual effects, and interactive media. He actively mentors students in portfolio development, industry-ready skill enhancement, research-driven learning, and innovative project creation, with a strong emphasis on meeting current industry standards and fostering creative excellence. His academic and research interests include 3D Animation, Game Art Design, Digital Sculpting, Visual Aesthetics, Character Design, Real-Time Content Creation, and Emerging Digital Media Technologies.
