Ms. Geetanjali Solanki
Assistant Professor
Ms. Geetanjali Solanki joined Faculty of Design, SGT University, Gurugram as an Assistant Professor. She has done M.Sc. in Fashion and Lifestyle Technology from Panjab University, Chandigarh. She has more than 3 years of experience in academics. She has worked as an instructor conducting classes in Department of Lifelong learning and Extension, PU, Chandigarh. She has also worked as a tutor and conducted classes of community service program. She has coordinated a fashion show organized by Big Bazaar and worked as a co-ordinator in “Udaan”, a fashion show for LGBT community at Panjab University, Chandigarh. Additionally, she has attended national and international seminars and has been awarded with certificate of appreciation for contribution as a team member for the success of ICSSR sponsored national workshop on “Exploring Research Methods and Statistical Techniques in Applied Fashion and Lifestyle Technology”. She has been awarded in poster presentation titled “Buying Behaviour” in the Shears and Ruban. She has actively participated as a delegate in Exposure: Fashion-Technology-Business, An International Fashion Symposium. She has organized webinars on Career planning after 12th and Role of stylists for fashion students and organized an online workshop ‘Brush Hour’ for Fashion and Design students. Also, she has recorded video lectures for the students of fashion design. Her core subjects are garment construction and pattern making and interest areas of research include traditional jewellery of different states of India.
