Prof. (Dr.) Debasis Bhattacharya

Prof. (Dr.) Debasis Bhattacharya is a senior academician, policy analyst, and author. He has been holding positions such as Professor and Dean in various universities and higher educational institutions. Dr. Bhattacharya received his Doctorate in Political Science from the University of Oregon, USA. He received his MA in International Studies from the Josef Korbel School of International Studies, University of Denver, USA, and MA in Economics from Delhi School of Economics, University of Delhi, India. He has about 26 years of total experience in teaching, research and corporate spheres in India and the USA combined. He has participated as Session Chairs and paper presenter in several national and international conferences held in India and the USA. Dr. Bhattacharya’s book (co-authored) with title: “GST and Its Aftermath: Is Consumer Really the King?”, published by SAGE Publications Inc. is a globally recognized publication that provides vital linkage among academia, industry, and public policy forum.
