Dr. Palak Arora
Assistant Professor
Dr. Palak Arora [PhD (English), UGC-NET Qualified, M.A. English (Gold Medallist), B.A.
(Hons.) English] is currently
serving as Assistant Professor in the Department of English and Humanities at SGT
University, Gurugram. She previously
taught at the University of Delhi, Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women
(IGDTUW), Government Girls
College, Bhiwadi, and GLA University, gaining extensive experience in mentoring
undergraduate and postgraduate learners.
Her research explored Posthumanism, Memory Studies, and the evolving notion of human
consciousness in modern fiction.
She also attended the London Critical Theory Summer School at Birkbeck, University of
London, contributing to
international conversations on critical theory and posthuman thought.
Dr. Arora has published multiple research papers and book chapters with reputed national and
international publishers,
including SCOPUS-indexed journals such as Taylor & Francis, Edward Elgar Publishing, IUP
Journal, and the Journal of
International Women’s Studies. She has also contributed an upcoming book chapter on Nepal
Theatre in A Guide for the
Future (UK: Routledge). In addition, she serves as a peer reviewer for the Journal of
Posthuman Studies: Philosophy,
Technology, Media, a Q1 SCOPUS-indexed journal.
