Dr Saloni Priya holds a Master’s, M.Phil. and a Doctorate degree in Linguistics from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, with research focused on Magahi language structure and sociolinguistic dynamics. Her teaching expience involves the areas like Communication Skills, Technical Communication, Professional Communication and Language and Linguistics. She has also worked as a Research Associate in the ICSSR Major Project titled “Endangered Orality of Kinnore Language/Tribe: A Cultural Interference”. She has served as a resource person and subject expert for the Bhartiya Bhasha Samiti (Ministry of Education, Government of India) in developing syllabi for Languages Courses under the vision of NEP 2020 and also contributed to the People’s Linguistic Survey of India, edited by Padmashri Ganesh Devy. Her research interests include Morphology, sociolinguistics, English Language Teaching, Communication Skills, and professional/technical communication. Dr Priya has presented her work at national and international conferences across Asia and Europe and published in reputed edited volumes. She is passionate about language documentation, revitalization, English Language Teaching and interdisciplinary approaches to language and communication.
