Dr. Shweta Tiwari
Assistant Professor

Dr. Shweta Tiwari completed her graduation from Delhi University followed by post-graduation and PhD from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. She got a gold medal for securing first class and first position in MA English. With more than five years of teaching experience, she has completed a short-term empirical research project funded by the Indian Council of Social Science Research.
She has over fifteen research papers and an edited book titled Currents and Crosscurrents: Reading Gender, Race and Class in Select Works to her credit. She has received several scholarships like Indraprastha Research Fellowship, Prof. V.K. Dublish Memorial Scholarship among others. She is also the recipient of awards like Nari Samman Award, Indian Women Rising Star Award and Student of the Year Award. An academic by profession and a creative writer by passion, her short stories have been published on sought-after online literary platforms like Muse India, Indian Ruminations and Setu.
