Dr. Tripti Chowdhury is a dedicated academician and researcher in International Relations and Political Science, with a strong interdisciplinary background and a commitment to advancing inclusive, globally informed scholarship. She earned her Ph.D. and M.Phil in Canadian Studies from the Centre for Canadian, U.S. and Latin American Studies at Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), following her Master’s in Politics with Specialization in International Relations from the same institution.
From August 2023 to October 2025, Dr. Chowdhury served as an Assistant Professor and eventually as Head of the Department (BA/BA Hons) at the Faculty of Law, Marwadi University, Rajkot. During her tenure, she led key academic initiatives. In 2025, she was selected for the prestigious Erasmus+ Academic Staff Mobility Programme at Ludovika University of Public Service, Budapest, strengthening global academic engagement.
Dr. Chowdhury’s research interests encompass gender studies, political representation, diasporic communities, identity politics, and global governance. Her work has been presented at major international conferences including the International Studies Association (ISA) in the United States in 2024. She also has publications to her name with reputed publishers like Routledge.
With experience spanning university teaching, school pedagogy, content development, and academic counselling, Dr. Chowdhury remains committed to fostering critical thinking, research excellence, and socially conscious learning among students by adopting the learning each day approach. She has taught papers like International Relations, Gender Studies, Comparative governance and Politics to name a few.
