To celebrate World Tourism Day, the Faculty of Hotel & Tourism Management (FHTM), SGT University, organized an educational trip to Bharat Darshan Park, New Delhi. The visit aimed to enhance students’ understanding of sustainable tourism and cultural heritage interpretation. During the visit, students explored life-sized replicas of India’s iconic monuments created entirely from scrap materials, reflecting innovation in tourism design and environmental consciousness. The experiential learning visit connected classroom concepts with real-world tourism practices, emphasizing the theme of “Tourism and Peace” for this year’s World Tourism Day. The trip provided valuable exposure to heritage tourism management, visitor engagement, and eco-friendly attractions—reinforcing FHTM’s commitment to experiential and skill-based hospitality education.
