SGT University recently organized an engaging and insightful session titled “Design Thinking for Real World Challenges”, hosted by the Faculty of Hotel & Tourism Management as part of its academic enrichment initiatives. The event featured an expert talk by Dr. Abhinav Mishra, who guided students through the principles of design thinking and how these can be applied to solve complex problems in real-life contexts.The session focused on equipping participants with a creative and human-centric approach to problem-solving, emphasizing empathy, ideation, prototyping, and iterative testing—core elements of the design thinking methodology. Students were encouraged to think beyond conventional solutions and explore innovative ways to tackle challenges encountered in various industries and societal issues.
