Hospitality Kitchen is a student-driven initiative of the School of Hotel & Tourism Management (SHTM), SGT University, designed to provide students with meaningful hands-on experience in professional food production, kitchen operations, teamwork, and service management. Under the mentorship and guidance of the faculty members, the students actively participate in planning, preparation, production, presentation, and service of a variety of food products. Through this experimental initiative, students can apply their theoretical classroom concepts to real-world scenarios, such as hospital operations, while developing practical skills in food preparation, kitchen management, hygiene and sanitation, food safety, portion control, costing, time management, and customer service.
