Dr. Amit Gusain is an Assistant Professor in the School of Hotel & Tourism Management at SGT University, India. He is a HACCP-certified hospitality professional with more than eight years of combined academic and industry experience, including service in five-star hotels and aboard international cruise liners. His professional expertise spans fine dining, haute cuisine, food production, and large-scale banquet operations. He holds a Ph.D. in Hospitality and Tourism Management, with research focusing on farm tourism, visitor behaviour, and sustainable tourism, along with a Master's degree in Tourism and Travel Management from IGNOU. He has published extensively in Scopus- and Web of Science-indexed journals, IEEE conference proceedings, and scholarly book chapters, and serves as a reviewer for reputed international journals. He is dedicated to excellence in teaching, research, curriculum development, and mentoring future hospitality professionals through innovative, industry- oriented education.
