The 3rd SGTU Ranka International Trial Advocacy Competition 2026 was successfully organised by the Faculty of Law, SGT University from 13 –15 March 2026.

The event witnessed participation from over 50 teams, including international teams, making it a global platform for law students. The inaugural session was graced by Hon’ble Justice J.K. Maheshwari, Justice Ashok Kumar Jain, Justice Neena Bansal Krishna and Justice J.K. Ranka (Retd.), while the valedictory ceremony was attended by Hon’ble Justice Rajesh Tandon (Retd.), Mr. Amit Jindal and Mr. Sudhir Mishra. Symbiosis School of Law, Hyderabad emerged as the winner, while KIIT School of Law, Bhubaneswar secured the runner-up position. The competition concluded by emphasising the importance of practical legal training and advocacy skills among law students.
