Dr. Mohammad Tabrej Alam is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Law, SGT University, Gurugram, and formerly served as an Assistant Professor at Lloyd Law College. He is an active alumnus of Amity University, Noida, and Lloyd Law College. Dr. Alam completed his B.A. LL.B. (Hons.), LL.M. in Family Law, and Ph.D. in Law from Maharishi Markandeshwar (Deemed to be University), Mullana, Ambala. He secured First Rank in the LL.M. programme at Amity University, Noida, graduating with a CGPA of 9.25, and was awarded the Gold Medal for academic excellence. He was also a Silver Medalist in his B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) programme. With over 14 years of professional experience, including 8 years in litigation (specializing in Criminal and Family Law) and 6 years in legal education, Dr. Alam has established himself as a committed academician, legal professional, and researcher. His teaching and research interests primarily focus on Family Law, Personal Laws, and Socio-Legal Studies. Beyond teaching, Dr. Alam has actively contributed to academic administration by serving in key roles such as Academic Coordinator, Examination Coordinator, Moot Court Coordinator, Placement Cell member, ERP Coordinator, and various institutional committees. He has also organized and coordinated national and international academic events, moot court competitions, conferences, and student development initiatives. A passionate educator, Dr. Alam is dedicated to creating an engaging and inclusive learning environment that nurtures critical thinking, ethical values, and professional competence. He believes in empowering students with legal knowledge, practical skills, and confidence to become responsible professionals and socially conscious citizens. His teaching philosophy emphasizes holistic development, encouraging students to overcome challenges, question stereotypes, and realize their full potential.
