Ms. Tripti Bhushan

Ms. Tripti Bhushan is currently an Assistant Professor and the Director at the Centre for Intellectual Property Rights Studies (CIPRS) at the School of Law, SGT University, Gurugram. Before this, she worked as an Assistant Professor at Jindal Global Law School (JGLS) from December 2020 to August 2026 where she was deeply engaged in Teaching and research. She has over seven years of teaching experience in academia. She is also pursuing her Ph.D. at Maharashtra National Law University (MNLU) Nagpur. She has completed her LL.M. in Intellectual Property Rights from Hidayatullah National Law University (HNLU) Raipur and B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) from Amity Law School, Lucknow. Earlier, she also served as an Assistant Professor at Kalinga University, Raipur, from 2019 to 2020. She has widely published many papers in Scopus‐indexed and reputed journals such as the Economic and Political Weekly (EPW), the Journal of Intellectual Property Rights, and the Law School Policy Review (NLSIU, Bengaluru). She has edited volumes on intellectual Property and legal issues, including The Handbook on Legal Contemporary Issues in India, which was endorsed by Hon'ble Justice Vineet Kothari, former Chief Justice of the Gujarat High Court. She has also edited Facets of Media Law and Intellectual Property Rights. She is a global speaker and has spoken at international forums, including the University of Indonesia, the 9th Biennial International Law Conference in Bandung, the Peruvian Bar Association, the Faculty of Law at the University of Indonesia, Maharashtra National Law University in Mumbai, and Kent Law School in the United Kingdom, where she won the Best External Paper Presentation Award. She has also been invited as a speaker and panelist at the IP Radio Station, which is Nigeria's premier online radio station dedicated to intellectual property. At that event she discussed cross‐border intellectual property rights infringement, prosecution, and enforcement.
