The NCC cadets of SGT University have once again shown their capability in the area of youth leadership and national service, as they delivered exceptional levels of performance at the Annual Training Camp (ATC-175) conducted by 5 Haryana Battalion NCC, Gurugram, at Hari Mandir School, Pataudi, Haryana, from 23 June to 2 July 2026.

Thirty-two NCC cadets (17 Senior Division Boys and 15 Senior Wing Girls) from SGT University participated in the ten-day training camp under the supervision of Shivam Vashist, Caretaker Officer (CTO), SGT University. In a display of their enthusiasm, dedication and sporting attitude, 30 medals were won by the NCC cadets from SGT University in many competitions. These included drill, lecturette, sit-ups, push-ups, cross-country, written test, firing debate, cultural and others. Such an impressive feat earned the university great accolades.

The main objective of the annual training camp was to develop leadership traits, fellowship, discipline, confidence, national unity, and physical endurance among NCC cadets. Extensive military training, field practice, personality development activities and competitive events were conducted during the training sessions.

Shivam Vashist congratulated all the cadets for their outstanding performance and dedication throughout the camp. He stated that the NCC provides an excellent platform for shaping responsible, disciplined, and confident youth who are committed to serving society and the nation.
