The students of the School of Emerging Media, Communication and Film Studies (SMCF), SGT University participated in an enriching four-day educational visit to the Jagran Film Festival organized in collaboration with Jagran Prakashan Group at Siri Fort, New Delhi. The visit was conducted with the objective of exposing students to the real-world environment of the film and media industry while helping them understand cinema as a creative, cultural, and professional medium.

The festival began with an inaugural session and orientation that introduced students to the structure and significance of film festivals in promoting cinema and creative storytelling. Throughout the four days, students attended a wide range of national and international film screenings that showcased diverse narratives, filmmaking styles, and cinematic techniques from across the world.
