Students from the School of Emerging Media, Communication & Film Studies (SMCF), SGT University continue to make their mark on inter-institutional platforms by showcasing excellence in creative expression and public speaking.
In a notable achievement, Ishita Hota (BAJMC, 6th Semester) secured 2nd Prize at 'Apeejay Institute of Management' on 20th March 2026 for her Open Mic Speech on the contemporary theme “AI at the Workplace.” Her presentation reflected strong articulation, critical thinking, and an insightful understanding of emerging technological trends in professional environments.

Adding to the accomplishment, Anshit Kathuria (BAJMC, 6th Semester) secured 3rd Prize at “Daastan,” a competitive platform dedicated to poetry, open mic, and spoken word performances at SGT University. His performance stood out for its expressive depth, originality, and impactful delivery, highlighting the power of storytelling through spoken word.

These achievements mark a proud moment for SMCF, SGT University, as students continue to demonstrate talent, creativity, and the ability to engage audiences through meaningful content and performance. Their success reflects the department’s commitment to nurturing communication skills, creative confidence, and critical expression among media students.
