Fostering Safe Learning Ecosystems to Enhance Faculty and Student Performance
The Faculty of Nursing, in collaboration with the Centre of Excellence for
Andragogical and Pedagogical Sciences
(CEAPS), commenced Day 1 of the 5-Day Faculty Development Programme (FDP) titled
“Fostering Safe Learning Ecosystems to
Enhance Faculty and Student Performance” on January 19, 2026.
The inaugural session was graced by Prof. (Dr.) Atul Kumar Nasa, Pro Vice-Chancellor,
SGT University. The programme is
being organized under the leadership of Prof. (Dr.) Sunil Kumar Dular, Dean, Faculty of
Nursing, SGT University. Prof.
(Dr.) Astha Chaudhry, Director, CEAPS, SGT University, and Prof. (Dr.) Sarika Yadav,
Associate Dean, Faculty of Nursing,
SGT University, also graced the occasion with their esteemed presence.
Day 1 began with the Inaugural Session, followed by a technical session by Prof. (Dr.)
Abha Singh, Pro Vice-Chancellor,
SGT University, on the topic “Psychological Safety for Faculty: Thriving Amid Academic
Pressures.” The session focused
on understanding psychological safety in academic environments, addressing faculty
well-being, and exploring strategies
to foster supportive institutional cultures.
