Department of Mental Health Nursing, SGT University - Faculty of Nursing in collaboration with the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecological Nursing and SVSP, successfully completed Week 1 of the three-week outreach programme on 11th February 2026 onwards at Civil Hospital, Sector-10, Gurugram.
The week focused on postpartum depression screening, maternal health assessment, and awareness through role play.

• Day 1: Students collected data from post-natal mothers using standardized tools to assess postpartum depression and perceived social support. Active participation from both women and men made the sessions engaging and meaningful.
• Day 2: Students performed a role play to create awareness about postpartum depression, promoting understanding of maternal mental wellbeing among mothers and family members.

Community members appreciated the initiative and expressed gratitude for the informative interactions.
