Impact Flow that can be generated by Sustainable Pharmacy Practice
Sustainable pharmacy is becoming more common as the drug industry tries to lower its impact on the environment while still keeping safety, effectiveness, and accessibility. Making medicines uses a lot of energy, waste, and chemicals that are harmful. As people around the world become more aware of climate change and the need to protect the environment, everyone from producers of raw materials to distributors of finished goods is looking for ways to make green manufacturing and eco-friendly drug formulations a normal part of their work. Green chemistry is used in sustainable pharmacy to create ways to lessen or eliminate harmful chemicals. This method cuts down on chemical waste, injuries to workers, and damage to the environment. Continuous manufacturing is improving the speed of production, the use of water and energy, and the ability to make things bigger without lowering the quality. Using biosynthetic or renewable plant-based raw materials is becoming more popular as a way to cut down on carbon pollution and the use of petrochemicals. Eco-friendly medicine formulations are good for the earth and improve drug stability, bioavailability, and patient compliance. Some examples are drug delivery methods that use biodegradable polymers, formulations that don't need solvents, and natural ingredients that aren't very harmful.
At SGT University, the Faculty of Pharmacy offers the Best Pharmacy Course in India, focusing on sustainable pharmacy and eco-friendly pharmaceutical innovations. By integrating green chemistry, renewable materials, and modern drug design techniques, the university equips students to develop safe, effective, and environmentally responsible medicines.
