SGT College of Pharmacy, SGT University successfully celebrated National Technology Day 2026 on 11th–12th May 2026 on the theme “Smart Technology-Driven Personalized Medicine and Pharmaceutical Innovation and IPR” with the support of HSCSIT, Directorate of Science & Technology, Govt. of Haryana.
Day-1 witnessed enthusiastic student participation in various competitions including Pharma Reel Making, Pharma Quiz, Debate Competition, Treasure Hunt, Pharma Essay Writing, and Poster Competition. Winners were awarded 1st, 2nd, and 3rd prizes in each event.
Day-2 featured keynote speeches and an engaging panel discussion by distinguished industry experts on innovation, AI-driven pharmaceutical technologies, IPR, and entrepreneurship. The programme was graced by Guest of Honour Dr. Rahul Taneja, Registered Patent & Trademark Agent and Scientist, HSCSIT.

• Dr. Sakshi Rastogi – Techno Domain Consultant, Life Sciences
• Dr. Rajesh Agrawal – General Manager, Modi Mundi Pharma R&D Centre

• Dr. Sania Bhatia Arora – Director, Ritzcraft Ventures (Numama), New Delhi

The National Technology Day programme was coordinated by Dr. Ravi Kant, Dr. Vineeta Meena, Dr. Rupa Gupta, and Dr. Reena Badhwar.
The event provided an excellent platform for students to enhance their scientific thinking, communication skills, innovation mindset, and awareness regarding emerging pharmaceutical technologies and intellectual property rights.
