International Seminar and MOU Signing Ceremony: Innovations in Integrative Healthcare

The Faculty of Physiotherapy at SGT University, in collaboration with the Office of International Relations, successfully organised an International Seminar and MOU Signing Ceremony with Indonesian universities on February 27th, 2025. The event, titled "Innovations in Integrative Healthcare: Bridging Traditional Knowledge, Modern Medicine, and Multidisciplinary Approaches," brought together distinguished speakers from Indonesia and India.

The seminar featured an impressive panel of international experts including Dr. Ir. Suhariningsih, Dr. Imam Waluyo, Dr. Dwi Ratna Handayani, and Dr. RM. Alfian from Indonesia, along with Indian scholars Dr. Mantu Saha from Delhi, Dr. A.M. Moorthy from Chennai, and Dr. Ishwar V. Basavaraddi from Jaipur.

Beginning at 9:30 AM at the C-Block Auditorium on campus, the event fostered meaningful dialogue on integrating traditional healthcare practices with modern medicine. The MOU signing marked a significant milestone in SGT University's commitment to international academic collaboration and research exchange.

This partnership aims to develop joint research initiatives, faculty exchange programs, and innovative curriculum development in physiotherapy and integrative healthcare. The collaboration represents SGT University's ongoing dedication to global educational partnerships and multidisciplinary approaches to healthcare education.

The seminar provided students and faculty with unique insights into diverse healthcare traditions and established a foundation for future cross-cultural academic endeavours between Indian and Indonesian institutions.
