The Faculty of Physiotherapy, SGT University proudly organized India’s longest World Physiotherapy Day celebration – PHYSIO EXUBERANCE 2025, held from 1st–12th September 2025. With the global theme “Healthy Ageing”, the celebrations uniquely focused on multiple age groups, reaching employed faculty, non-teaching staff, hospital staff, elderly villagers, and students.
Spanning nearly two weeks, the event combined workshops, health camps, competitions, and community engagement, showcasing the transformative power of physiotherapy in promoting wellness across all ages.
- 400+ employees screened and guided with physiotherapy consultancy.
- 50+ villagers educated on healthy ageing while enjoying fun fitness activities.
- 750+ students engaged in competitions, workshops, and fitness events.
PHYSIO EXUBERANCE 2025 stands out as India’s longest World Physiotherapy Day celebration, beautifully targeting all body functions and all age groups, ensuring that the message of Healthy Ageing reached every corner of the campus and community.
All the participants received e-certificates for their enthusiastic involvement, while the rank holders were honored with medals and trophies during the grand Closing Ceremony held on 12th September 2025 in the C Block Auditorium in the presence of honourable Pro Vice Chancellor, Dr (Prof.) Atul Kumar Nasa Sir, Prof. (Dr.) Renu Malaviya (Dean), Faculty of Behavioural Sciences and Dr. Ashima Rani (Associate Dean), Faculty of Engineering.
The Faculty of Physiotherapy, SGT University, can proudly declare PHYSIO EXUBERANCE 2025 a grand success. It not only celebrated World Physiotherapy Day but also established a sustained culture of preventive health, fitness, and community well-being.
Through screenings, competitions, workshops, and interactive community events, the initiative reaffirmed physiotherapy’s role in helping every individual stay healthy, active, and independent at every stage of life.
The event was a team effort and overall coordinated by Dr. Aditi, Assistant Professor, Faculty of Physiotherapy, whose leadership and dedication ensured seamless execution and wide-scale impact.
