Dr. Himanshu Gakhar is a passionate neurophysiotherapy academician, clinician, and researcher dedicated to advancing neurological rehabilitation through evidence-based practice, innovation, and academic excellence. He is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Neurology Physiotherapy at SGT University while pursuing his Ph.D. from the prestigious Indian Spinal Injuries Centre, New Delhi, affiliated with Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU).
A proud Gold Medalist in Master of Physiotherapy (Neurology) from Amar Jyoti Institute of Physiotherapy, University of Delhi, Dr. Gakhar has consistently demonstrated academic distinction throughout his journey. He completed his Bachelor of Physiotherapy from SGT University, Gurugram, where he was honoured with the title of “Best Clinician Hand”, and also received a Scholarship for Academic Excellence during his postgraduate studies.
With a strong blend of clinical expertise, teaching excellence, and research orientation, Dr. Gakhar has actively contributed to numerous national workshops, conferences, seminars, and academic forums, earning accolades and recognitions for his outstanding participation and achievements.
Driven by a vision to integrate technology with rehabilitation sciences, his work focuses on transforming neurorehabilitation through innovative approaches, advanced therapeutics, and patient-centred care.
