Dr. Pooja Bhati
Assistant Professor
Dr. Pooja Bhati is currently working as Assistant Professor in School of Physiotherapy, SGT University, Gurugram, Haryana, India. She is an academic scholar who has completed her graduation in Physiotherapy from Pt. DDUIPH, University of Delhi (2009-2014) with overall second rank in the university. She did her Masters in Sports Physiotherapy (Sports) with a gold medal from the prestigious Jamia Millia Islamia (A Central University), New Delhi (2014-2016). Post completing her Masters of Physiotherapy (MPT), she qualified a Doctoral fellowship in the form of UGC NET-JRF and got enrolled in the Ph.D. program (Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation Sciences) at Jamia Millia Islamia and began her doctoral studies in exercise physiology (2016-2020) Jamia Millia Islamia. To her credit expertise and capability, there are numerous projects and publications. She has an excellent track record in academic institutions of high repute and is actively engaged in teaching, research, administration, and service to Physiotherapy. Dr. Pooja Bhati currently holds around 49 publications in various international journals of repute and also serves as a peer-reviewer in various international journals of repute including the prestigious PLOS ONE, Frontiers in Physiology and Scientific Reports. She was also awarded as top peer reviewer under multidisciplinary category by Clarivate Analytics, USA in 2018. She has been awarded a prestigious research grant of Rs 16 lakhs from the Ministry of Youth and Sports Affairs, Govt of India for conducting study on artificial intelligence driven risk stratification of sudden cardiac deaths in Indian athletes. She has participated in numerous international and national conferences and has received the best paper award too.
