Dr. Snigdha Tiwari

Dr. Snigdha Tiwari is currently serving as an Assistant Professor at the School of Physiotherapy, SGT University, Gurugram. She is a dedicated and accomplished physiotherapy professional with more than 15 years of rich clinical and academic experience in the field of musculoskeletal and orthopedic rehabilitation. She completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy from Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya (DAVV), Indore in 2003 and obtained her Master of Physiotherapy in Orthopedics from DAVV, Indore in 2008, securing the position of University Topper. She is presently pursuing her PhD in the field of physiotherapy. Dr. Snigdha has actively participated in numerous national and international conferences, workshops, and continuing professional development programs. She has worked with renowned healthcare institutions. In recognition of her clinical expertise and patient care services, she was honored with the “Best Physiotherapist” award for two consecutive years at Portea Medicals. Alongside her clinical practice, she has been actively involved in academics and has guided several undergraduate and postgraduate students, reflecting her dedication towards teaching and mentorship. Her academic and research contributions include publications in reputed national and international journals, including Scopus-indexed journals. She has also presented research papers at various conferences and has received awards for Best Paper Presentation during her tenure as a PhD scholar. Dr. Snigdha has developed and copyrighted a protocol on the “Augmented Active Control Exercise Programme in Disc Prolapse Patients.” In addition, she has successfully filed three patents to date.
