Mr. Mudit Bhatia
Assistant Professor
Mr. Mudit Bhatia is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Sports Science, School of Physiotherapy at SGT University, Gurugram. He completed his Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Health Education and Sports from the University of Delhi, followed by a Master of Physical Education from the same institution. During his undergraduate studies, he earned the ISSA Certified Personal Trainer credential and began working with high-net-worth individuals (HNI), athletes, and diverse populations as a fitness professional. He qualified NET-JRF twice (2019 & 2020), and further attained the prestigious NSCA-CSCS certification, widely regarded as the global gold standard in Strength and Conditioning. He has gained extensive practical experience working with athletes across different levels at reputed organizations including Ethical Tennis Academy, Sporting Ethos, and Flow Sports Life Badminton Academy, Gurugram—one of North India’s leading badminton training centres. He pursued his M.Sc. in Sport & Exercise Science from the Technical University of Munich, Germany, where he also worked as a Strength and Conditioning Coach at ZHS München. Upon returning to India, he served as the Head Strength & Conditioning Coach at Flow Sports Life Badminton Academy, leading the S&C department and working closely with over 200 athletes. He has presented research papers at both national and international conferences. A sportsperson himself, he holds a Black Belt in Taekwondo and has secured positions at the Senior National level. He also demonstrated leadership during his college years as a Junior Under Officer (JUO) in NCC, earning the prestigious ‘C’ certificate. He holds a keen interest in advancing sports performance and athlete development through both academic and applied practice.
