Dr. Divya Sareen
Assistant Professor
Dr. Divya Sareen is an Assistant Professor of Chemistry in the Faculty of Applied and Basic Sciences with more than eight years of teaching experience. She has been teaching at the Faculty of Applied and Basic Sciences of SGT University since December 2021. She has done B.Sc. (Honors) Chemistry, M.Sc. (Honors) Chemistry and Ph.D. in Inorganic Chemistry from Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar, Punjab. She has also qualified the NET examination in the subject of Chemical Sciences. She also did post-doctorate from Kangwon National University, South Korea where she researched in the field of organic and supramolecular chemistry. She has a number of high impact factor, peer-reviewed publications to her credit. She has regularly participated in international and national conferences, seminars, and workshops. She has also attended the UGC-sponsored Orientation course as well as a number of Faculty Development Programs. She is a life-time member of the Chemical Research Society of India and also a member of the American Chemical Society. She is a member of editorial boards of few journals as well. Her research interests include design and synthesis of fluorescent and colorimetric molecular probes, switches and sensors.
