Dr. Megha Upadhyay
Assistant Professor
Dr. Megha Upadhyay is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Forensic Science, School of Basic and Applied Sciences, SGT University. She has completed her Bachelor’s degree in Paramedical Sciences and Master’s degree in Forensic Science, and holds a Ph.D. in Forensic Science. Her academic and research interests primarily encompass forensic biology, forensic genetics, DNA profiling, population genetics, DNA degradation studies, and molecular techniques applied to human identification. She has an overall academic and research experience of 5 years. Dr. Upadhyay has published five research/review articles in reputed Scopus-indexed journals and has actively participated in eight national and international conferences, where she has presented her research work. Her academic and research pursuits are directed towards strengthening forensic investigations and contributing to the advancement of forensic science as a discipline.
