Dr. Neha is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Forensic Sciences, Faculty of Applied and Basic Sciences, at SGT University, Gurugram, Haryana. Dr. Neha holds a Ph.D. and M.Sc. in Toxicology from Jamia Hamdard, New Delhi, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Forensic Science from the University of Delhi. She completed her B.Sc. in Botany from the University of Delhi. A recipient of the prestigious DST-INSPIRE Fellowship and UGC-NET qualified, she brings over four years of research experience in toxicology, neurodegeneration, forensic science, and bioanalytical methods. She is a lifetime member of the Society for Neurochemistry, India (SNCI) and The Society for Mitochondria Research and Medicine, India (SMRM). Currently, she leads both intramural and extramural funded research projects focusing on glioblastoma biomarker detection and the interplay between cancer biomarkers and psychological health. Dr. Neha has also published a patent on a green chemistry-based technique for petrol adulteration detection. Her research contributions include 15 publications in reputed peer-reviewed journals indexed in SCI, focusing on neurodegenerative diseases, mitochondrial dynamics, drug repurposing, and molecular neurobiology. She has also authored a book chapter published by Academic Press in the domain of computational biology for stem cell research. Dr. Neha has presented her research findings at several national and international conferences.
