 | The department has state of the art equipment to diagnose, plan treatment and treat the cases of varying malocclusions. The department has computerized cephalometric software(Nemoceph) for a thorough and detailed diagnosis of an orthodontic patient. The digital SLR camera allows for accurate image storage in the two flat screen Dell computers. The department is directly linked with central servers for digital image transfer of OPG and Cephalogram from the department of oral medicine and radiology. The department is spacious enough to have a separate UG and PG section along with faculty rooms and HOD rooms. |

Special CasesThe department deals in treating a variety of special cases including complex Class II and Class III malocclusion cases which are treated with a combination of orthodontic and surgical procedures. Many versatile appliances are used for treating severe malocclusion including Herbst appliances and other fixed appliances. |  |
Ph.D COURSE IN THE DEPARTMENT The Department offers a PhD program in the subject of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics.The Entrance test for admission in PhD is held in the month of July of the year of admission; followed by interview and Counselling. The classes start in the month of August every year.
