Dr. Pushpinder Kumar is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, School of Engineering & Technology at SGT University, Gurugram. Dr. Pushpinder earned his Doctor of Philosophy (Mechanical Engineering) from Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology. His research area mainly focused on the Mechanical, Metallurgical, Tribological, and Corrosion investigation on properties of laminates produced by Large Strain Extrusion Machining. He has completed his Master in Engineering (Machine Design) from PEC (Punjab Engineering College) Chandigarh and B. Tech (Mechanical Engineering) from Chandigarh Engineering College, Mohali (2007). He has more than 14 years of national and international experience in teaching and research. He also served in the Mechanical and Industrial Engineering Department at Dire Dawa University, Ethiopia, under the UNDP project from 2014 to 2018. He has published many research papers in peer-reviewed SCI journals and presented research papers at National/International Conferences. His research interests include advanced manufacturing, Severe Plastic Deformation, Tribology, Composite Materials, and large-strain extrusion machining.
