Prof. Dinesh Deshwal

Dr. Dinesh Deshwal is a dedicated, resourceful, and goal-driven academician with a strong commitment to the holistic academic growth and development of students. With over 11.5 years of teaching experience in the academic field, he has effectively guided undergraduate and postgraduate students in their project work and research activities. He actively motivates students to develop innovative ideas and encourages experiential learning through self-study and case-based approaches. Dr. Deshwal is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at SGT University. He completed his Ph. D. in Mechanical Engineering in 2025 from Deen Bandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science and Technology, Murthal, where he also earned his M. Tech. in Mechanical Engineering (Mechanism & Manipulator Design) with honours. His core research interests include Mechanism & Manipulator Design and Nano-sensors, with additional interests in robotics, electric vehicles, and quality practices in advanced engineering systems. He has published his research work in journals of international repute and actively participates in academic conferences, seminars, and workshops. Beyond academics and research, Dr. Dinesh Deshwal has a keen interest in travelling and enjoys playing cricket and basketball.
