Overview

The Integrated Teacher Education Program (ITEP) B.A.B.Ed. Secondary Level is a comprehensive four-year program designed to prepare educators for teaching at the secondary school level. This program integrates general education with specialized teacher training, creating competent and well-rounded educators capable of meeting the diverse needs of secondary school students.

This program aligns with the norms set by the National Council Teacher Education (NCTE) and is offered by few esteemed institutions like SGT University, which is recognized for its excellence in education.

Specializations:

• English Literature and Language: Teach language skills, critical reading, and creative expression in secondary classrooms.
• Social Studies: Deliver inquiry-based education across history, politics, economics, and more.
• Hindi Literature and Language: Foster cultural understanding and linguistic proficiency in Hindi.
• Computer Science: Teach digital literacy and foundational computing skills in school settings.

Eligibility

Candidates with minimum 50% marks in Senior Secondary or + 2 and its equivalent (under 5+3+3+4 pattern) from a recognized board are eligible. Relaxations for SC/ST/OBC/PwD/EWS categories as per government norms.
