Overview

The Integrated Teacher Education Program (ITEP) B.Com B.Ed. is a comprehensive four-year program designed to prepare educators for teaching at the secondary level (9-12th grade) with a specialized focus on commerce education. This program integrates commerce education with specialized teacher training, creating competent and well-rounded educators capable of meeting the diverse needs of secondary school students in commerce-related subjects.

This program aligns with the norms set by the National Council Teacher Education (NCTE) and is offered by esteemed institutions like SGT University, recognized for its excellence in education.

• Banking and Finance: Teach financial systems, banking operations, and money management.
• Marketing and Sales Management: Deliver lessons on consumer behavior and promotion strategies.
• Human Resource Management: Focus on organizational behavior and people management.
• International Business and Trade: Guide students through global trade concepts.
• Digital Commerce and E-Business: Teach digital platforms and marketing strategies.

Eligibility

Candidates with minimum 50% marks in Senior Secondary or + 2 (5+3+3+4 pattern) or equivalent from a recognized board are eligible. Commerce/Business Studies/Economics/Mathematics must have been studied at the Senior Secondary level.

Relaxation in marks and reservation for SC/ST/OBC/PWD/EWS categories as per Central/State/UT government norms.

Fees & Scholarships

• Tuition Fees: ₹60,000 per semester
